Fall 2009 Exchange will be your gateway to consumer satisfaction

When Judy Garland sang “Meet Me in St. Louis” back in 1944, she was probably thinking more about co-lead Tom Drake than the general topic of insurance customer relations, but then who knows for sure?  What we are sure about is that you won’t want to miss the chance to meet us in St. Louis at the ICAE 2009 Fall Exchange to explore the topic: “ICAE: The Gateway to Consumer Satisfaction.”

Our location is the beautiful Westin St. Louis, site of an ICAE Spring Roundtable several years ago.  We liked it so much we knew we wanted to go back, and this is your chance to experience it yourself.  Located not far from the famous Gateway Arch and the St. Louis Cardinal’s Busch Stadium, the Westin has a lot to offer – and so does our agenda.

Among other programs, get ready to experience a National Insurance Trades panel featuring comments from representatives of the AIA, AHIP and ACLI.  We’ll be considering how to “think outside the black box” when it comes to CAT modeling. We’ll look at the growing problem of insurance fraud in a tough economy and hear from the National Insurance Crime Bureau on ways you can more easily identify fraud. Our Regulator Showcase will focus on Colorado’s Complaint Reconciliation Process.  We’ll even look at the idea of seniors as Insurance Commissioners, hearing from a panel of AARP representatives.  And the word is that the Missouri Insurance Commissioner may even moderate one of our panels.

By popular demand, we will hold breakout sessions two days in a row, so bring your thinking caps and best customer relations practices (or worst horror stories).
