Join regulators and industry professionals September 24 – 27th, 2023 for ICAE’s 2023 Fall ExchangeHighlights include:

  • As asked for in our Surveys – there will be more interactive sessions between Regulators & Company Members.
  • State Insurance Commissioners Panel Discussion – an important panel for ICAE as Katie Johnson, representing Commissioners Scott White (Virginia), Mike Causey (North Carolina), Mike Chaney (Mississippi) & Michael Humphries (Pennsylvania) come together to discuss current & pending regulatory issues. We will have a Welcome Address about Hershey from Commissioner Humphries prior to the panel.
  • Patrick Devlin of Liberty Mutual Insurance will present with factual information on Market Conduct Exams and follow with an interactive session in which he and Mississippi Regulator Andy Case will share their vast knowledge and experience on insurance regulations.
  • Speed Networking with Regulators – 5 regulators will move table to table to answer company member’s questions and share information. This was a big hit in Savannah and is being expanded.
  • Complaints, Back to Basics Analysis – A two-part, two-day panel discussion of industry members & regulators on how to determine what is a complaint, how to address and answer specific situations and avoid regulatory consequences.
  • Member Showcase – Adam Stanhope (the Hanover), will provide information on SHAREPOINT, as a tool in handling complaint management.
  • KEYNOTE ADDRESS: Matthew Smith, Coalition Against Insurance Fraud, will conduct a new presentation on FRAUD INVESTIGATIONS.
  • Breakout Sessions by product line – will take you from initial analysis to successful completion of complaint handling.
  • Diversity & Inclusion & Civility – a very popular session in Savannah. We will engage in a panel discussion to continue as an ongoing narrative.
  • Robert P. Hartwig, PhD, CPCU, Clinical Associate Professor, Finance Department and Director, Center for Risk and Uncertainty Management will present on changes and influences on the financial services industry.
  • The ever-popular “Ask the Regulators and Company Reps”, a single-platform panel discussion between regulators and insurance company representatives with a Q & A session.
  • Tuesday evening dinner & brewery tour of the famous Troegs Brewery, Hershey, PA.
